If you like coconut custard pie, try this! Please note that in this recipe the ingedients are to be mixed with a whisk only. This recipe makes 3 pies.
Ingredients:
2 cups sugar
3/4 cup of soft butter
2 tablespoons self rising flour
6 eggs, whisked together
5 cups coconut
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 teaspoons coconut extract
3 cups milk
3 (9 inch) deep dish pie shells
Directions:
1. Whisk together the sugar, butter and flour.
2. add the eggs and both flavorings.
3. add the milk and continue to whisk.
4. encorporate the coconut and pour into the pie shells.
5. bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. The top should be golden brown.
