A very tasty bar for anyone who loves coconut. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
2/3 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup butter
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup honey
1 large egg
1 cup oatmeal
1 cup coconut
1/2 cup nuts, chopped
Directions:
1. In bowl combine flour and baking powder, blend well. cream the butter, salt , vanilla, add the sugar and the honey and beat well. Add flour mixture, oatmeal, coconut and nuts. Pack into a greased 9 inches square pan.
2. Bake at 325° for 45 minutes, cut into squares while warm.
