The unique paring of cocoa powder and chili seasoning is becoming all the rage and after trying this recipe I understand why! *Prep time does not include time to marinate.
Ingredients:
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 -2 tablespoon mccormick cocoa chile blend
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground oregano leaves
2 lbs pork tenderloin
Directions:
1. Mix brown sugar, cocoa chile blend, garlic powder, salt and oregano in small bowl. Coat pork evenly with seasoning mixture.
2. Refrigerate overnight for best flavor or at least for a couple of hours before cooking.
3. Grill over medium heat 25 to 30 minutes or until desired doneness is achieved, turning occasionally. (Or roast under broiler on center rack, watch closely and turn as necessary.).
4. Transfer pork to cutting board. Cover loosely with foil. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing.
