Cocoa Cake With Fluffy Peanut Butter Frosting

I've celebrated many birthdays with this moist delicious cake. Hope you do too.
Ingredients:
cake
3/4 cup butter-softened
1 3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 eggs
2 cups cake flour
3/4 cup baking cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/3 cups buttermilk
frosting
1 cup milk
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 cup peanut butter-or to taste
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
dash salt
Directions:
1. Preaheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Grease and flour two 9 round cake pans or one 9 x 13 baking pan. Set aside.
3. In a large mixing bowl,beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
4. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat on medium speed for 1 minute.
5. Sift together flour,cocoa,baking soda,baking powder,and salt.
6. Add to butter mixture alternating with buttermilk. Beat well after each addition.
7. Pour batter into prepared pan(s).
8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until inserted toothpick comes out clean.
9. Cool 10 minutes then turn out onto wire racks.
10. Cool completely.
11. Frosting:
12. In small saucepan,combine flour and milk. Cook over low heat until thickened,stirring constantly.
13. Transfer to a small mixing bowl. Cover and cool completely.
14. Add peanut butter,butter and sugar.
15. Beat on high until fluffy and sugar is completely dissolved. Makes 3 cups of frosting.
16. Frost cake as usual.
