I have not tried this recipe. I got this recipe from Ossg Recipes.
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 tablespoons soy powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/3 cup finely chopped green pepper
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup tomato sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar substitute
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
1 dash hot pepper sauce
Directions:
1. Mix thoroughly beef, egg, soy powder and salt; shape into 50 small 1/2 inch.
2. meatballs. Arrange in shallow baking pan (12 x 8 x 2 inches). Broil 4 inches.
3. from heat until browned; turn once. Pour off fat.
4. Meanwhile, in sauce-pan, cook onion and green pepper in butter until tender. Add meatballs and remaining ingredients. Cover; cook over low heat 10 minutes. Stir occasionally.
