These are great for parties, appetizers, or for a meal.
Ingredients:
3 slices of bread
4 1/2 tsp mayonnaise
3 oz. sliced turkey breast - deli sliced ( or use ham )
2 iceberg lettuce leaves
2 tomato slices
2 or 3 slices of cooked bacon
Directions:
1. Toast each slice of bread. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread. Take one slice of toast, mayo side up, put on as much turkey breast as desired. Next tear or fold one iceberg lettuce leaf to fit on the turkey. Stack on another slice of toast with the may side up. Break up bacon slices to fit on top of the second slice of toast. Then tear or fold the second lettuce leaf to fit on top of bacon. Next arrange the two tomato slices to fit the lettuce. Top off with the last piece of toast mayo side down. Pierce the sandwhich with four toothpicks between the corners, so that when the sandwhich is sliced from corner to corner the toothpicks wind up in the center of each of the four slices.
