Classic 'flop Proof' Scones

Light and delicious scones
Ingredients:
250 ml cream
3 cups self raising flour
250 ml sprite
pinch of salt
1 beaten egg
Directions:
1. Pre heat oven to 180 degrees C
2. Add all the ingredients into a bowl.
3. DO NOT STIR, rather fold the ingredients together until mixed.
4. Grease a baking tray. I use a spoon to place medium to large 'blobs' on the tray, leaving about 2 cm between them on either side. Brush lightly with egg. Bake until tops are golden.
