Cinnamon-Sugar Crisps

Part of a low cost meal.
Ingredients:
3/4 cup butter, softened
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions:
1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars.
2. Beat in egg and vanilla.
3. Combine the flour, cinnamon and salt; Gradually add to creamed mixture.
4. Shape into a 12 inch roll; wrap in plastic wrap.
5. Refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm.
6. Unwrap and cut into 1/4 inch slices.
7. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
8. Decorate with sprinkles.
9. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
10. Remove to wire racks to cool.
