Cinnamon Fried Chicken

Ingredients:
3 lbs chicken, cut up
1 tablespoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
3/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 cups flour
vegetable oil
Directions:
1. Place chicken pieces in a baking dish. Mix cinnamon, sugar, pepper, oregano and salt in a small bowl.
2. Sprinkle over chicken, coating both sides. Cover chicken and refrigerate at least 1 hour.
3. Dredge chicken in flour, shake off excess.
4. In a large saucepan, heat 2 inches of oil to 375. Fry chicken in batches, without crowding, turning, until browned on the outside and tender and cooked through. About 25 minutes.
