Cinnamon Egg-White Whole Wheat French Toast with Vanilla

Yet another attempt at French toast. This time there's vanilla and egg whites. Seems to be healthy, but it's missing something...
Ingredients:
2 egg whites
1/3 cup milk
2 slices of whole wheat bread
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp artificial vanilla
1 tbsp syrup
1 pinch of salt
1 pinch of pepper
Directions:
1. Milk egg whites, milk, and vanilla in a bowl until frothy.
2. Dip two slices of whole wheat bread in the mixture then place in frying pan.
3. Apply cinnamon to the upper side.
4. Wait until the bottom side looks cooked.
5. Flip, then apply cinnamon to the new side facing up.
6. Wait until cooked.
7. Enjoy!
