Ingredients:
2 cups flour
1 cup oats, steel cut
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
3/4 cup milk
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons cinnamon
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425.
2. Mix flour, oats, 1/4 C sugar, baking powder & salt.
3. Cut butter into small pieces and mix with a pastry blender or fork until mixture is crumbly.
4. Beat milk, egg, & vanilla together and add to other ingredients.
5. Spoon batter into a non stick scone pan.
6. Mix together 2T sugar, and 2T cinnamon, and sprinkle over scones.
7. Bake 11-13 minutes, or until tops of scones just start to brown.
