Cinnamon Bun Cake

I found this recipe in one of my cookbooks. Delicious and easy to make.
Ingredients:
crunchy brown sugar layer
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 stick butter
1 teaspoon cinnamon
cake
1 box yellow cake mix
1 cup sour cream
3 eggs
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup water
cinnamon swirls
3 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
frosting
1 8oz package cream cheese-softened
1/2 stick butter-softened
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 16oz box powdered sugar-sifted
Directions:
1. Crunchy Brown sugar Layer:
2. Cream together ingredients.
3. Spread evenly into the centers of two greased 9 cake pans. Do not spread to edges.
4. Cake:
5. In a large mixing bowl sift cake mix and combine with other ingredients. Beat for 2 minutes.
6. Set aside 1 cup of batter and spread remaining batter over brown sugar layers.
7. Cinnamon Swirls:
8. Add brown sugar and cinnamon to reserved batter. Drop by spoonfuls over batter in pans.
9. Gently swirl with a knife.
10. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until cake tests done.
11. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans.
12. Cool completely.
13. Frosting:
14. Beat together cream cheese and butter. Add sugar and vanilla. Beat until smooth.
15. Generously spread frosting between layers of cooled cake and on top only. Do not frost the sides.
16. Note:
17. I have to admit,sometimes I frost the sides but unfrosted sides make a better presentation. Either way it's delicious.
18. Pour a big glass of milk and enjoy!
