cinnamon biscuits; serving size is 1 biscuit
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
1 cup low fat buttermilk
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
100 grams apple, diced
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tbsp olive oil
Directions:
1. mix dry ingredients
2. add oil and blend with pastry blender
3. add apples
4. add buttermilk
5. stir into a stiff dough
6. roll out and cut into 12 biscuits
7. place on cookie sheet
8. bake at 450F for 15 minutes
