This is a lovely cookie, a version of the chocolate chip, with just a little different flavor -
Ingredients:
1 cup butter, melted
2 cups lightly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
2/3 cup whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 (225 g) package chipits semisweet chocolate chunks
1 cup toasted almond, chopped
Directions:
1. Combine butter, brown sugar and eggs. Blend well.
2. Stir in remaining ingredints. Mix well.
3. Drop by tablespoons measure onto ungeased baking sheets.
4. Bake at 350°F for 8-10 minutes or until cookies are brown around the outside and soft in the middle.
