Christmas Pudding On Spoons

This is a wonderful Christmas dessert. Presentation is wonderful and the taste is amazing! This recipe is from a Christmas Appetizer class I took with JW's Catering ( at the local Community College ).
Ingredients:
30 spoons ( i bought about 10 from a local asian shop )
150 ml thickened cream
2 tbsp castor sugar
250 g thick custard, warmed
450 g christmas pudding, heated
handful of flaked almonds, toasted, chopped to decorate
grated orange zest to decorate
Directions:
1. Using an electric mixer, beat the thickened cream and castor sugar together in a bowl until stiff.
2. Lay out all of your spoons on serving plates and put a blob of custard on each spoon - be careful not to use too much custard or they will overflow when you add the pudding.
3. Take a tsp, scoop out lumps of the hot christmas pudding and drop them on the custard.
4. Top with a dollop of the whipped cream.
5. Scatter with the flaked almond & grated orange zest.
6. Serve warm.
