Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
1 cup water
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup shortening
1/4 cup cocoa
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
chocolate-peanut frosting
Directions:
1. Combine flour and sugar in a large mixing bowl; set aside.
2. Combine water, butter, shortening, and cocoa in a heavy saucepan; bring to a boil. Pour chocolate mixture over flour mixture; blend well. Add next 5 ingredients; mix well.
3. Pour batter into a lightly greased 13- x 9- x 2-inch baking pan. Bake at 400° for 25 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool. Spread Chocolate- Peanut Frosting over cake.
