Chocolate Pudding Brownies

Ingredients:
6 tablespoons butter or 6 tablespoons margarine, softened
2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup flour
1 (3 3/4 ounce) package chocolate pudding mix
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup nuts, chopped
powdered sugar
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Cream butter and sugar.
3. Blend in eggs, milk, and vanilla.
4. Stir together flour, pudding mix, baking powder, and salt.
5. Add to creamed mixture; mix well.
6. Stir in nuts.
7. Spread in greased 9 X 9 X 2-inch baking pan.
8. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
9. Cool.
10. Sift powdered sugar over top, if desired.
