Chocolate Pistachio Cake

An extra sweet treat...My brother loved it and requested me to make this atleast once in a week.
Ingredients:
chocolate cake
2 oz unsweetened chocolate, chopped
1 cup flour
1 1/4 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
3/8 cup / 3 fl oz. / 6 tbsp unsalted butter ,soft
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup + 1 tbs milk
creamy chocolate frosting
1 cup sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
dash of salt
2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, grated
1 cup boiling water
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla
pistachios,chopped
chocolate,grated
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 180 C. Coat 8 round cake pan with cooking spray.
2. Heat chocolate in microwave on high 30 seconds, stir.
3. Heat another 30 seconds or until melted.
4. Sift flour, baking powder and salt onto a sheet of wax paper.
5. Beat butter in bowl until creamy.
6. Beat in brown sugar.
7. Add egg, beat well.
8. Add vanilla and melted chocolate.
9. Alternately beat flour mixture and milk into butter chocolate mixture.
10. Pour into pan. Bake 35 - 40 min.or until done.
11. Cool in pan 10 min. Remove from pan and let cool.
12. Meanwhile,prepare frosting.
13. Mix sugar and cornstarch; add chocolate and salt.
14. Add boiling water. Cook until mixture thickens(4-5 minutes).
15. Remove from heat. Add butter and vanilla.
16. Mix well and leave to cool.
17. Cut cake in three layers.
18. Place one cake layer on a serving platter.
19. Spread the top with frosting and chopped pistachios.
20. Place the second layer on top of the first layer and spread frosting and pistachios.
21. Place the third layer on top and frost the top and sides of the cake with frosting.
22. Sprinkle chopped pistachios and grated chocolate to cover the top.
23. Chill before serving.
