pour 1 1/2 cup boiling water over 1 cup quick oatmeal set aside till lukewarm. while cooling mix
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp salt.
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
add:oatmeal and water bkae 350 for 35-45 minutes in 9x 13 pan

1. FROSTING: 2. 1/4 cup oleo or butter 3. 1/2 cup Brown Sugar 4. 3 Tbs. Milk 5. 3/4 cup coconut 6. 1/3 cup chopped nuts 7. Spread evenly onto cake put under broiler 3-4 minutes
