Chocolate Mint Baked Custard

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups milk, divided
1 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 cup mint chocolate chips
2 large eggs
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. In a small saucepan, combine 1/2 c milk and the mint-chocolate chips.
3. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until chips are melted and mixture is smooth.
4. Set aside.
5. In a large bowl, combine remaining 1 c of milk, condensed milk, and eggs; beat until well blended.
6. Add chocolate mixture; beat well.
7. Pour into a 1-quart casserole.
8. Fill a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan with 4 cups of water.
9. Place casserole in baking pan.
10. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 50 to 55 minutes.
11. Serve warm or cool completely.
