Chocolate lover's fantasy. That says it all. :) Ingredients:
4 cups sugar |
1 cup flour |
1 cup cocoa |
8 large eggs |
2 cups butter, melted |
4 teaspoons vanilla |
2 cups chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. In large bowl, whisk sugar, flour and cocoa until well mixed
2. With an electric mixer, beat eggs in large mixing bowl
3. Add dry ingredients, butter and vanilla
4. Mix well
5. Stir in pecans and pour into a 3-quart Pyrex dish
6. Place in water bath and bake on oven rack at lowest level for 1 hour and 20 minutes
7. DO NOT OVERBAKE
8. Remove from water bath and cool completely on wire rack
9. The top will be crusty as it cools
10. Top with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream
