Quick and easy. Great for potluck gatherings. Ingredients:
1 box chocolate cake mix |
1 3.4oz box instant vanilla pudding mix |
1 cup chocolate syrup-divided |
1 12oz carton whipped topping |
1/2 cup chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. Prepare and bake cake according to package instructions using a greased 9 x 13 pan. Cool on wire rack.
2. Meanwhile,prepare pudding according to package instructions. Pour into a 9 x 13 baking dish.
3. Tear cake into small pieces and gently push down into the pudding.
4. Drizzle with 3/4 cup of chocolate syrup.
5. Top with whipped topping.
6. Drizzle with remaining chocolate syrup.
7. Sprinkle with pecans.
8. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
