Great little treat for Easter....I've made one big nest and filled with birdie peeps to use as a buffet centerpiece Ingredients:
1-14 oz. pkg. flaked coconut |
2/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips, melted |
fillings |
jelly beans |
easter candy |
foil wrapped chocolate eggs |
Directions:
1. In mixing bowl, add coconut and chocolate and mix until well blended
2. On a baking sheet covered with parchment paper, drop by 1/3 cupfuls and shape into nests, leaving dent on top for filling
3. Chill until firm
4. Just before serving, add fillings of your choice
