Chocolate Chip Orange Muffins

Ingredients:
1 c flour
3/4 c whole wheat flour
3/4 c sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
2 tsp finely shredded orange rind
2 egg whites
2/3 c buttermilk
1/3 c unsweetened applesauce
1/2 c chocolate chips
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400. Spray 12 muffin cups with nonstick spray.
2. Mix all dry ingredients plus orange rind in a bowl.
3. Beat egg whites in separate bowl until foamy. Stir in buttermilk and applesauce.
4. Mix dry and wet ingredients together just until moist.
5. Fold in chocolate chips.
6. Pour batter into prepared cups. Bake 15-17 minutes.
