Chocolate Chip Cookies With Oatmeal, Flax, Cranberries, and Nuts

Recipe comes from my friend Janey with a few additions. Note cookies do not turn golden brown, but do taste delicious.
Ingredients:
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup wheat germ
1/2 cup flax seed meal
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 egg
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup quick-cooking oats
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1 cup chocolate chips
1/4 cup chopped pecans
Directions:
1. Stir together all dry ingredients.
2. In another bowl, beat butter (softend) and sugars. Add egg, milk and vanilla.
3. Stir in flour, oats, nuts, chocolate chips and cranberries; mixing well.
4. Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet; bake at 350 for about 12-14 minutes.
