This is a nice little cookie recipe with the fat content cut down. My weight watcher instructor friend gave me this recipe and it is popular. Nobody needs to know you cut the fat. Yummmmmmmmmmm
Ingredients:
1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup packed dark brown sugar
1/4 cup unsalted butter softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup fat free sour cream
1 large egg
3/4 cup quick cooking rolled oats
1/2 cup miniature chocolate chips
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Spray 2 large baking sheets with nonstick spray.
3. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a bowl then set aside.
4. With an electric mixer on medium high beat brown sugar, butter and vanilla until blended.
5. Stir in oats and chocolate chips.
6. Drop dough by level tablespoonfuls onto baking sheets 1 apart making a total of 36 cookies.
7. Dip bottom of a glass in flour and press floured glass against each mound.
8. Bake 1 sheet at a time until lightly browned about 12 minutes.
9. Transfer to racks and cool then repeat with remaining cookies.
