A high protein antioxidant rich smoothie that can be used as a meal replacement, an addition to any meal or a snack. I like this recipe because you can make it easily at any time of the year and it is both incredibly delicious and nutritious. It is excellent for boosting your immune system due to high level of antioxidants and glutathione production. The reason for using Action Whey is that it is clinically proven to have the highest immune factors available and is not a whey protein isolate which is devoid of biological value necessary for glutathione production. Make sure to blend the whey protein at a lower setting so it retains it's full biological value. Add a pinch of cayenne pepper if you want to spice it up. Ingredients:
8 ounces raw milk (almond & coconut are great) or 8 ounces non-dairy milk substitute (almond & coconut are great)
4 ounces plain yogurt (raw is best but nancy's is good)
7/8 ounce chocolate action whey
1/3 ounce rawburst
1/2 banana
12 nuts (chopped if you don't have a high speed blender)
1 cup ice
Directions:
1. Blend all ingredients except whey protein at high speed. Add Action Whey and blend at lower setting. Serve and enjoy!
