Ingredients:

  • 1 lb shrimp
  • (peeled and deveined)
  • 1/2 medium onion (chopped )
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1/2 stick of butter or margarine
  • 1 shot of tequila

Directions:

  1. If you cannot find Chipotle Chilis in your super market, try substituting with any other mild flavored chili.
  2. Cook onion, garlic and chipotle in half the butter in a small skillet over medium heat until soft.
  3. Stir in tomato puree; season to taste with salt. Add some water and continue simmering
  4. Cook shrimp in remaining butter in a large skillet over medium heat until it turns pink and dries up. . Mix thoroughly.
  5. Immediately stir in the sauce to combine.
