This is a tasty and healthy dish! It is easy to make and all the ingredients (except the rice) can be substituted for others. There are also so many more ingredients you could add to this dish. It was really easy and is sure to be a hit with the family! Read more ! Another Idea is instead of using your normal soy sauce you have at home go out and buy some quality Japanese soy sauce!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups of rice
2 medium sized mushrooms
1/2 capsicum
1/2 stalk of shallots
1/2 cup of snow peas
1/2 onion
1/2 cup of corn
1/2 cup of mint peas
1 cup of mixted vegetables (frozen)
1 chicken thigh
1/2 cup of sliced ham
Directions:
1. Set oven temperature to 100 degrees C.
2. Boil some water on the stove. when boiled, add the rice along with 1/2 teaspoon of oil and a teaspoon of salt, boiling for 12 minutes, stirring 3-4 times.
3. When cooked drain the water out of the rice but DO NOT rinse with water. Spoon rice onto a tray and put in oven.
4. Slice chicken into small pieces and stirfry in a wok. Remove chicken and put aside.
5. Cut up remaining ingredients and stirfry in the wok. When cooked add chicken and continue to stirfry.
6. Once cooked to satisfy add rice and mix ingredients all together. Add some soy sauce and then serve into bowls.
7. Add soy sauce to taste and enjoy your quick, easy and healthy meal!
