My mother came up with this receipe years ago and it is still one of our favorites. This meal is easy to put together in the crock pot and the flavor is unbelievable. Serve it over rice or egg noodles and it will be a favorite of yours also !! You can change whatever vegetables you would like in this dish.
Ingredients:
1 lb sirloin, tips cut into 1 inch pieces
16 ounces low sodium beef broth
1 medium onion, chopped
1 large green pepper, chopped
1 large red pepper, chopped
3 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1/2 cup flour
1 cup water
salt and pepper (to season)
cooked rice or egg noodles
Directions:
1. Put all ingredients in crock pot except flour and water and stir together. Set crock pot on low for 6-8 hours. Stir flour and water together and slowly stir into crock pot to thicken sauce. Add more flour and water to make thicker and serve over cooked rice or egg noodles.
