Hot and tasty snack great for large gatherings
Ingredients:
500ml (2 cups) self-raising flour
1 large onion, chopped
3-4 green chillies, chopped
125ml fresh coriander (dhania), chopped
10ml (2 tsp) cumin (jeera)
salt to taste (+/- 2 tsp)
oil for deep-frying
Directions:
1. Heat oil for frying
2. Combine the ingredients
3. Mix well into a batter
4. Drop teaspoonsful into hot oil
5. Fry until well puffed and golden
6. Drain from oil onto absorbent paper
