A vegetarian chili - simmer beans for two hours or soak them overnight.
Ingredients:
2 cups dry red kidney beans
5 cups water
2 yellow onions
1 green pepper
2 stalks celery
2 cloves garlic
1 cup tomato sauce
2 cups tomatoes (stewed)
4 tbsp chili powder
2 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
1/8 tsp cayenne
Directions:
1. Soak beans for 2 hours. Add remaining ingredients and simmer additional two hours.
