This is an easy recipe for chili sauce using fresh ingredients.
Ingredients:
1 cup apple cider vinegar
1 vidalia onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 cup celery, chopped
2 (28 ounce) cans crushed tomatoes
1 cup honey
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon clove, ground
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper, ground
Directions:
1. Add all ingredients to heavy pot.
2. Bring to a boil.
3. Reduce to a simmer and let cook for 1 hour.
4. Add ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
5. Return to pot and simmer for 30 minutes more.
6. Enjoy.
