One of my favorite tailgating soups for those long cold days that everyone seems to enjoy. Easy and can be modified to tastes rather simply. I enjoy a little kick from my chili with jalapenos and this is something that is not only easy but cheap and hearty.
Ingredients:
2 (16 ounce) cans chili (any variety)
8 hot dogs (i use chicken dogs)
1 (8 ounce) package shredded cheddar cheese
2 ounces jalapenos, diced
Directions:
1. Cut hot dogs in rounds and deep fry until cooked.
2. combine both cans of chili and jalepenos into a sauce pan or slow cooker (slow cooker may need water from time to time to prevent it from burning).
3. Cook until thouroghly heated and nearly ready to eat.
4. Add hot dog rounds in to chili mixture and mix.
5. Serve into bowls, top with cheese and enjoy.
