Ingredients:
1 (15 oz) can(s) black beans, rinsed and drained
2 to 3 teaspoon(s) chili powder
3/4 cup(s) chopped onion
1 (4 oz) can(s) diced green chile peppers
1 (14.5 oz can(s) diced tomatoes
1/2 cup(s) dried elbow macaroni
1/2 teaspoon(s) garlic salt
1 pound(s) lean ground beef
shredded cheese
1 (8 oz) can(s) tomato sauce
Directions:
1. In a large skillet cook the ground beef and onion until the meat is brown and the onion is tender.
2. Stir in the beans, undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce, chile peppers, macaroni, chili powder, and garlic salt. Bring to boiling, then reduce heat and simmer, covered, for about 20-30 minutes or until the macaroni is tender. Stir often.
3. Remove from the heat and serve hot. Sprinkle with desired cheese.
