A good chili for a cool night! My family has always, and I mean always served their chili with cinnamon rolls-odd, but a perfect companion!
Ingredients:
2 1/2 ground beef or chuck
1 onion diced
4 cans of mild chili beans (with juice)
1 can of black beans (with juice)
3 cans of dark red kidney beans (with juice)
1 can of light red kidney beans (with juice)
1 can of white kidney beans (with juice)
2-3 cans of tomato sauce
paprika-to your taste
cumin-to your taste
chili powder-to your taste
salt -to your taste
pepper-to your taste
garlic salt-to your taste
hot sauce-again to your liking
Directions:
1. Dice one onion.
2. Brown beef until crumbly and drain.
3. Add onion to beef-throw in a pinch of salt and pepper
4. Pour in the cans of your beans.
5. Cook for awhile-about 30 minutes
6. Add tomato sauce
7. Cook for another 20 minutes
8. Add your spices to your liking
9. Cook for about 60 minutes-stirring occasionally.
10. Last ten minutes or so add the hot sauce to the chili to your liking...
