This is a great cold day meal served with some sweet corn bread and sweet tea!
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion (chopped)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
salt and pepper
1 can tomato sauce
4 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
32 ounces water
2 cans red beans (drained)
1 can stewed tomatoes (sliced)
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef, onion, garlic, and salt and pepper.
2. Add remaining ingredients.
3. Bring to a hard boil.
4. Reduce to a simmer for 45 minutes.
