This is the recipe I use for Chili. There are never any leftovers at my house.
Ingredients:
1 white onion
1 teaspoon butter
1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
1 (14 ounce) can red kidney beans
1 (10 ounce) can campbell's tomato soup
2/3 cup water
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon white vinegar
Directions:
1. Chop onions finely.
2. Saute onion in butter.
3. Add ground beef and brown meat slowly until well done.
4. Add red kidney beans, tomato soup, water, salt, garlic powder, chili powder, and white vinegar; stir well.
5. Cook for about 2 hours or in a slow cooker on low for approximately 6 hours.
6. Tastes better the next day.
