Basic chili base.
Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground turkey
1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes
1 onion
1 tablespoon olive oil
6 ounces tomato paste
1 (20 ounce) can kidney beans
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
spices
salt and pepper
Directions:
1. Brown ground turkey in skillet.
2. Add tomatoes, onion, olive oil, tomato paste, kidney beans, honey, and balsamic viinegar.
3. Cook in a slow cooker on high for 3 hours.
4. Add spices and salt and pepper to taste. I like cinnamon, smoked paprika, and cocoa.
