This is from TOH. I am posting this for safe keeping. 55 per serving. Tasty & inexpensive my kind of meal.
Ingredients:
7 (4 ounce) cans whole green chilies, drained
3/4 lb monterey jack cheese, cut into strips
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
5 eggs
1 1/4 cups milk
1/4 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
Directions:
1. Split chiles lengthwise; rinse and remove seeds.
2. Drain on paper towels; pat dry.
3. Stuff chilies with cheese strips.
4. Place half of chilies in a greased 11x7 inch baking dish;.
5. sprinkle with 1/2 cup cheddar cheese.
6. Repeat layers.

9. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until.
