Chile Relleno Casserole

Combined a sausage casserole with a chile relleno bake and came up with a filling all-in-one brunch dish.
Ingredients:
3 cans of whole green chile, mild, drained split
2 tsp of softened butter
1 chub of breakfast sausage (i used jimmy dean mild), browned and crumbled, drained
1/2 cup of mild salsa
2 heaping tbsp of flour
1 tsp of sazon seasoning (seasoned salt)
1/2 tsp of black pepper
2 cups of shredded colby jack cheese
6 slices of muenster cheese
6 eggs
1 can of evaporated milk
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Brown, crumble and drain breakfast sausage.
3. Add salsa, season salt, pepper and flour and stir until well mixed.
4. Cool slightly.
5. Butter an oval casserole (2 quart) very well.
6. cover the bottom of the casserole with 1/2 of the green chile.
7. Top with three slices of muenster cheese
8. Top with 1/2 of the sausage mixture.
9. Repeat layers, chiles, muenster, sausage mixture.
10. Beat eggs with evaporated milk.
11. Cover meat/chile mixture with shredded cheese evenly.
12. Pour beaten eggs/milk overall.
13. Put on a baking sheet (to guard against spillover) and bake for 45 to 50 minutes until puffed anc golden.
