Chicken Sausage And Potato Bake

I used to make this years ago, and still find it's one of my favorites. Now I use skinless, boneless chicken breasts and my own Italian sausage, but it's still a crowd pleaser.
Ingredients:
3 lbs skinless, boneless chicken pieces
1 lb italian-style sausage (mild or spicy, as you like it)
6 potatoes
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 lb mushrooms, cleaned and chopped
1/3 cup olive oil
2 teaspoons oregano
1 teaspoon rosemary
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2 teaspoons paprika (you may use less if the sausage is spicy)
1 teaspoon garlic salt
4 tablespoons dried parsley
Directions:
1. Mix all the spices together in a small dish and set aside.
2. Peel and cut the potatoes in bite-sized pieces and place them in the bottom of a baking pot.
3. Sprinkle about 1/3 of the combined spices over the potatoes.
4. Layer the onions and mushrooms on top of the potatoes.
5. Layer the chicken pieces on top of the vegetables.
6. Lay the sausage, cut into bite-sized pieces, atop the chicken.
7. Sprinkle the remaining blended spices on top of everything.
8. Sprinkle the olive oil over the entire pot.
9. Place in a pre-heated 425-degree F oven for 30 minutes.
10. Reduce the oven heat to 375-degrees and bake for 45 more minutes, until the potatoes are cooked and the sausage is browned.
