Ingredients:
3/4 cup diced cooked chicken |
3/4 cup finely chopped celery |
2 tablespoons mayonnaise |
2 teaspoons lemon juice |
salt to taste |
dash of pepper |
12 slices white bread |
lettuce leaves |
Directions:
1. Combine chicken, celery, mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and pepper; mix well. 2. Remove crust from bread. Spread 1/4 cup chicken salad on 6 slices of bread; top each with a lettuce leaf and remaining slices of bread. Cut each sandwich into 3 rectangles. |
