i just thought of this the other day - and threw it together!i made it for my brother john's 49th birthday! enjoy!!!! i came up with the filling in my head one day when i was hungry - that's how most of my recipes are born!
Ingredients:
1 3 1/2 cup pouch of peppered gravy
(the brand i use is sm southeastern mills - they can be found on-line at the gravystore )
2 16 oz. bags of frozen mixed vegetables
2 small cans of white meat chicken
2 cups of bisquick
1 cup of milk
2 eggs
Directions:
1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 400 DEGREES
2. IN LARGE SAUCE PAN OR SKILLET MAKE GRAVY ACCORDING TO DIRECTIONS.
3. ADD 2 BAGS AND 2 CANS OF CHICKEN TO GRAVY
4. LET SIMMER ON LOW WHILE YOU MAKE BISCUIT TOPPING
5. IN LARGE BOWL COMBINE REMAINING INGREDIENTS
6. USE A LARGE CASSAROLE DISH
7. POUR GRAVY MIXTURE INTO CASSAROLE
8. POUR BISCUIT MIXTURE OVER GRAVY MIXTURE
9. SLIGHTLY SPREAD TO COVER EVENLY
10. PLACE CAREFULLY IN OVEN
11. BAKE FOR 30 MINUTES(UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN)
12. DIG IN!!!!
