Chicken Parmesan Sandwich

All the flavors of Italy under a bun.
Ingredients:
2 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (approximately 4-5 ounces each)
salt and pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 egg, beaten
3/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs
3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 slices provolone cheese
2 italian rolls, ciabiatta or 2 french rolls, split lengthwise
1/3 cup marinara sauce or 1/3 cup meatless spaghetti sauce, warmed
Directions:
1. Flatten chicken to 1/2-in. thickness; sprinkle both sides with garlic powder, oregano and season to taste with salt and pepper.
2. Place flour and egg in separate shallow bowls. In another bowl, combine bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese. Dip chicken in flour, then egg; roll in crumb mixture.
3. In a large skillet, heat oil. Cook chicken over medium heat for 4-5 minutes on each side or until juices run clear. Layer chicken and cheese on bun bottoms; spread with marinara sauce. Replace tops.
