Chicken Liver Pate Supreme

This ia a pate my girlfriend has made for years. The only one that I have liked.
Ingredients:
2 tbs butter
1/2 lb, chicken livers
2 onions,chopped fine
2 tbs dry sherry,salt
1/2 c butter,room temperature
Directions:
1. Put in a pan
2. 2 Tbs butter
3. onions
4. Cook slowly until onion is soft. Add chicken livers. Cook 10 mins
5. Put in a bowl. Mash with a fork(I put in blender). Add to pan juices the dry sherry.
6. Stir and scrape to get all the good brown bits and add to liver. Cool.
7. Cream 1/2 c butter . Stir in the liver. Season with salt and add more dherry if needed.
8. Pack into a crock or bowl and serve with crackers.
