Chicken Italian Style

I love to make this chicken casserole when I'm short on time. All you need to add is a salad and maybe some Italian bread and you have yourself a great tasting dinner
Ingredients:
1 (4 lb) chicken, cut up
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 onions, sliced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
1 stalk celery, cut in small chunks
2 cups potatoes, diced
1 cup ripe tomato, chopped
1 teaspoon oregano
3 tablespoons chopped parsley
1 cup frozen peas, thawed
Directions:
1. Brown the chicken in olive oil.
2. Add salt, pepper, and onions and cook for another 5 minutes.
3. Put celery and potatoes in the bottom of the slow cooker and top with browned chicken, onions, tomatoes 1/2 cup of water, oregano, and parsley.
4. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
5. Add peas cover and cook on high 15 minutes.
