Chicken Chow Mein Casserole

I got this recipe from a co-worker. It's one of her daughter's favorite meals. We liked the combination of chow mein noodles and cashews. It's a good week night dinner or a way to use up leftover chicken. I have also started adding a can of sliced water chestnuts.
Ingredients:
2 cups diced cooked chicken
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 cup finely slivered celery
1 tablespoon butter
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1/3 cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon soy sauce
3 drops hot pepper sauce
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 cup chow mein noodles
1/3 cup cashews
Directions:
1. Saute onion and celery in butter.
2. Add soup, broth, soy sauce, hot pepper sauce and pepper. Stir in chicken and simmer 5 minutes.
3. Pour into a 1 qt casserole dish and top with chow mein noodles and cashews.
4. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
