I got the original recipe from my friend Norma. We went to school together and my daughter is married to her son. She made this for Jamie's (my daughter) baby shower and it is soooooooo good. I had to tweak it a bit for my family's light weight taste buds. Read more . Norma's recipe called for 1 Tablesoon of Cajun Seasoning but we can only handle 1 teaspoon. My hubby doesn't care for pecans very much so I leave them off as well. I serve with Keebler Town House Toppers garlic & herb crackers. I don't shape it into a ball unless I am taking it for a shower, I just make it flat and leave on a plate. My hubby likes to take this in his lunch for work and he says his fellow workers come around for a taste. I have printed off several copies of the recipe for him to give out. :o) .
Ingredients:
2 - 8 oz. packages of cream cheese (softened)
1 large can of white chicken (drained)
2 tbs. chicken bouillion (granulated)
1 tsp.cajun seasoning
1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients well, except pecans.
2. Shape into a ball and leave in refrigerator overnight then roll in chopped pecans and serve.
