Chicken Cacciatore

Serve over hot buttered spaghetti, linguini, or fettucini.
Ingredients:
2 onions, sliced
3 lbs chicken legs
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 (16 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1 bay leaf
1/4 cup white wine
Directions:
1. Place onions in bottom of slow cooker.
2. Lay chicken legs over onions.
3. Combine remaining ingredients, and pour over chicken.
4. Cover, and cook on low for 6-6 1/2 hours.
5. Remove bay leaf, and serve.
